Friends, families, faculty, and students all gathered in Sinchon Campus on the morning of Jan. 25 to attend the 2013 Commencement Ceremony. Several different commencement ceremonies took place around the campus. For example, the ceremony for the College of Science took place in Room 111 of Science Hall and the ceremony for Underwood International College and the Graduate School of Int. Studies took place in New Millennium Hall. President Jeong Kap-young delivered his commencement address in the ceremony that took place in the Main Auditorium. The valedictory speech was given by the class representative Kim Jun-yu (M.D., Dept. of Systems Biology), who talked about what leaving “Yonsei” meant to him. A total of 2,988 Bachelor’s Degree recipients, 819 Master’s Degree recipients, and 305 Doctoral Degree recipients were honored on this day.
