“YOU ARE right and she is also right,” once remarked Hwang Hee, a royal prime minister of the Joseon Dynasty. There are times when values on opposite ends are both right in their own senses. Amongst diverse ethics, it is worthwhile to establish one’s own standards, and it is wisdom that serves as a cornerstone that supports one’s structure of values and virtues.
Wisdom can be sought in many places - not only from little screens in one’s hands, but also from books, in which thousands of lives and ideas are condensed. With one flip, one can look into the brilliant minds of history – from Hwang Hee to Darwin to Tolstoy. With one flip, wisdom of mankind awaits.
