THE SEMINAR that introduces the Exchange Student Program (ESP) and Visiting Student Program (VSP) was held in Baikyang Hall on Oct. 11, at 5:30 p.m. by the Study Abroad Center.
Starting with the seminar, the video tape about an introduction of University of Colorado at Boulder was played for about 10 minutes. It had the audience absorbed into the seminar. Next, the host of the seminar explained details of the ESP and VSP such as their advantages, qualifications and procedures by comparing them. She also gave some quiz in order to break the boring mood caused by long time explaining. After the presentation, two students who experienced VSP/ESP told the Yonseians about their life in foreign university. Jeong Ho-yer (Sr., Dept of Business Admin.) was the visiting student in Bocconi University in 2007 spring semester and Han Jin-woo (Sr., Dept. of Psych.) was the exchange student in Bright University. They talked about their interesting experiences they had while studying abroad.
At the end of the seminar, many people asked the host about those programs, and she answered very kindly. Through this briefing, many students who had interest in studying abroad could get useful information.
