Ansan City Park

 00:00
*Ansan* City Park has several entrances around Yonsei Campus, *Seodaemun* District Office, *Bongwon* Temple, *Muakjae* Subway Station, and *Dongnimmun* Station. Join us on a journey beginning from the entrance next to the Muak Dormitory.

Near the entrance, horizontal bars and benches provide hikers the opportunity to stop and exercise. It might be a good idea to spend few minutes here warming up.

00:13
Ten minutes later, a direction board points two springs and an observation platform. A 0.5km walk (about three minutes) to the right leads to *Jangsoochun* Spring. There are mountaineers taking a drink, and neighboring residents filling their water bottles to bring back home.

00:28
While walking toward the summit of the park, a grand forest lined with incredibly tall trees comes up on the left. In nearly 28 minutes since beginning, you will finally reach the observation platform. The platform consists of *Muak* Pavilion, where many mountain climbers take a break and admire the view of Seoul.

00:40
It only takes roughly 30 minutes to arrive at the top of the mountain without taking a break. At the summit of

the park, you will see the *Muak-dong* Beacon, which is numbered 13 as a monument of Seoul, and you will also be thrilled to find such beautiful scene of Seoul. Walk around the *Muak-dong* Beacon, enjoy the wide overlook of the city, and try to locate the turtle-shaped rock. The hot sunlight might keep you sweating, yet the beacon will grant a shadow for you to rest and take in the fresh air.
