THE CEREMONY for the 123rd anniversary of the foundation of Yonsei Univ. took place on May 10. The events consisted of the 123rd anniversary ceremony at the auditorium, reunion of 1983 and 1968 graduates, the opening ceremony of the Yonsei-Samsung Academy Information Center, and the ground-breaking ceremony of the second international dormitory.
   President Kim Han-joong stated that “all three campuses, Shinchon, Wonju, and Songdo will be developed according to their distinctive features” and that “Baikyang-ro will be developed into an underground space to make a campus without automobiles.”
   Prior to the anniversary ceremony, the opening ceremony of the Yonsei-Samsung Academy Information Center was held. Also, the reunion of students who graduated 25 and 50 years ago took place in the afternoon. Many old graduates returned to the campus to joyfully meet old friends and marched around the campus, recollecting their memories. Later, the ground-breaking ceremony of the second international dormitory started.
   The 123rd anniversary events continued all day among the attendance of many students, graduates, and professors. The events The ended successfully and turned out to be meaningful in that they showed the bright future of Yonsei Univ. and enabled old graduates to meet each other.
