YONSEI UNIV. holds Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) program from June 30 to August 6. Students are provided with more than 70 courses to choose from during summer vacation.

YISS is open to all current four-year university students and high school seniors accepted to a four-year university. While it only allowed foreign university students to participate before year 2007, YSIS now allows 20% of the Yonsei Univ. students to join the program.

“YISS aims to provide participants a chance to bond with foreigners while broadening their minds and helping them explore interested fields. Furthermore, the program has non-credit extracurricular activities every Friday. Participating in YISS program is more than learning- it is fun!” said an official from YISS.

Students can take maximum of 7 credits from YISS. The program is progressed in English throughout, taught by the finest professors from Yonsei Univ. and other foreign universities. Students are allowed to take Yonsei summer session and YISS at the same time unless the classes overlap.

YISS will definitely be a great opportunity for students to experience high-quality summer class, while enhancing their English skills.
