THE 2008 Yon-ko Athletic Meet was held for two days, from Sept. 5 to 6, at the Jamsil Stadium and the Goyang Oulimnuri Hockey Rink. Although the event was scheduled earlier than usual (usually it is held during the fourth week of September or the first week of October), the students and alumni from Yonsei and Korea Universities filled the stadium and the hockey rink cheering excitedly. Five games, baseball, basketball, ice hockey, rugby, and soccer, were played, and Yonsei Univ. won based on total wins. Yonsei Univ. won the baseball 9-2, the rugby 27-21, and the soccer 1-0; ice hockey finished tied 1-1; and Korea Univ. won the basketball 72-74.
