This semester, a student organization called "Nom Nom Nom" started to hold a campaign to reduce the percentage of smokers on campus. This organization is supported and funded by the Ministry for Health, Welfare, and Family Affairs. Mainly students from the Dept. of Nursing participated in this campaign. "Nom Nom Nom" is surveying and recommending students to reduce smoking, while holding performances that show and compare the lung capacity of smokers and non-smokers. It also gave out stick shaped crackers in exchange for cigarettes, advising smokers to stop smoking. The risks of second-hand smoking are also being raised. "There is a right for non-smokers to reject second-hand smoking," says Yoon So-wol, one of the supporters.
