As I was a student from the college of humanities, I didn't have many chances to meet engineering students. Therefore, the lives of engineering students were very unfamiliar and strange to me. Like other students in my college, I was curious about their lives. Honestly, I had some prejudices of them such as their 'Alcohol culture' because they looked tired, gloomy and untidy.
However, reading the article about the engineering students, I realized that they are the same students just like us. Rather, they were more passionate and diligent students. They are the real students who do researches, experiments, and construct their dreams all day long. They should perform experiments for four hours every day and take much more exams than students in the college of humanities. Although their lives are very demanding and their homeworks are always burdensome, engineering students that I saw in the article and the pictures were so shining.
"Don't judge a book by its cover." Today, I got a big lesson. We should not judge engineering students by their external images we saw. I saw the hidden effort of them. Now I believe that they are very passionate students in Yonsei University who love their majors, and devote their time to do their jobs. I hope they achieve their dreams successfully as they did a lot and make the better world with their engineering talents and efforts.
