Gongmojeon is definitely a topic of interest to Yonseians. Contrary to its neutral subtitle, “The effects of gongmojeon on university students”, I was given the impression that the article rather focused on the positive side. Each gongmojeon and its benefits were explained in detail whereas the paragraphs explaining the dark side of them seemed to be relatively weak in argument. The article would have been richer if it had introduced the so-called “gongmojeon-hunters,” people who are only after the prize money per se, which I believe is deeply related to the problem of "￦880,000 generation." To sum up, I hope *the Yonsei Annals* had focused more on the negative side of the phenomenon.
