“MY TATTOOS are a form of self-expression and a medium for me to exhibit what I truly value. This tattoo was inspired by my love for rock music since the age of twelve. The three birds represent the three people I hold dear to my heart: my relatives and a close friend. The five red flowers represent friends I met from different countries: although our interactions were short-lived, they were bright like the red flowers. The clouds represent how I sometimes forget to think about myself in life. Tattoos require a lot of thought and commitment, as that is what brings them value: the manifestation of your virtues into your skin. My tattoos are what brought value into my life, and what inspires me to be myself.”
