Netflix's *Squid Game* trending around the world
DALGONA, A traditional Korean candy, was a popular street food among children back in the 1900s. The various shapes on the candies offered an interesting challenge—carve it out without breaking and you get another for free. What was once an innocent children’s game has turned into a worldwide trend after the release of the Korean TV series Squid Game. Influencers and YouTubers have flocked to make their own homemade dalgona, intrigued by the high stakes posed in the TV series—break the candy and you “die.” Accept the challenge, and you will feel a shiver down your spine.
