Amidst the rubbish piles in a city slum, standing strong is the horizontal ladder painted yellow and red. The smothering hot air, mixed with ghastly odors of rotting food and decaying animals, freshens up as a boy on the ladder bursts into laughter. He laughs so hard that his face cramps. By laughing, he does not free himself from the troubles in his life; yet, he feels the moment of joy. Laughter is a natural painkiller. Although it does not eradicate the seed of pain, sometimes killing the pain is good enough.
