The Student Union has gone through a partial renovation. The renewal of the lobby and restrooms, as well as the repainting of the corridors of floors 2 to 4 and the basement floor ended during the summer break. The renovation of cafeterias inside the Student Union will be carried on into the second semester. "Although the Student Union is a building most representative of the students, its facilities have become antiquated," says Student Association (SA) member Kim Soo-hyun (Planning, Assistant Director). The SA originally pushed for constructing a completely new Student Welfare Hall, but the plan has been shelved due to the Baikyang-ro Project.
