The Yonsei-SERI EU Centre held its first EU Week, from Nov. 2 to Nov. 6. During EU Week, events such as the EU Promotional Event, Mock EU Summit, Student Academic Essay Competition, and EU Leadership Student Debate Competition were held. EU Week is part of many activities held by the EU Centre to call for more attention to the EU's political, economic, and cultural roles in international society. Other events include forums for opinion leaders, various academic programs related to EU studies, and student fellowships. "Through such activities, I hope that more students will develop interest in the EU," says Park Deok-young (Head, EU Law Centre).
